The traderpublic newsroom
Every article on this site is attributed to the traderpublic newsroom. There are no personal bylines, no author profiles and no photographs of people, and this page explains that choice rather than papering over it.
One name on everything
Open any article here and the attribution line reads traderpublic Newsroom. That is not a house style covering for individuals whose names we would rather not print; it is the actual unit of responsibility. The newsroom, as a publisher, answers for every sentence on this site.
Nothing is signed by a person because no individual byline would be truthful. Copy is produced through a shared editorial process, so a single name on top of it would be a decoration, and a decoration on an attribution line is exactly the kind of small dishonesty this site is trying to avoid.
Why there are no invented people
An earlier version of this project displayed a masthead of writers and analysts who did not exist. They have been removed from every attribution role and survive only as clearly labelled illustration on the about page, where they feed nothing.
We will not replace them with a better-looking set of fictions. No credentials, no years of experience, no awards and no headcount are claimed anywhere on this site, because we cannot evidence them — and a claim about expertise that cannot be checked is worth less than no claim at all.
If named people ever do sign work here, they will be real, reachable, and accountable for what they wrote, and this page will say so on the day it becomes true.
How a story reaches this page
Reported content is delivered to the site from an editorial system over an authenticated connection. Nothing is published by an anonymous form, and nothing is published because a firm asked for it.
Before a piece is delivered, its factual claims are expected to be traceable to a primary source under the sourcing rules in the editorial policy. After delivery, the newsroom remains responsible for it: corrections are applied to the live page, and a piece that cannot be defended from sources is withdrawn rather than left up.
Automated assistance may be used in drafting, translating and formatting, under the narrow limits set out in the editorial policy. It never originates a fact and it is never an author.

- Sourcing: primary documents and registers, or an explicit unverified label.
- Corrections: made on the page, dated, and never silent when meaning changes.
- Independence: no commercial party sees or influences a page before publication.
What the newsroom is accountable for
Accuracy of what is stated, honesty about what is not known, and the labelling of anything on this site that was written to demonstrate an interface rather than to report a fact.
The newsroom is also accountable for absence. No broker ranking is published here yet, and an absent record is not a negative finding about a firm — it means no desk-checked review has been completed. The methodology page sets out the standard such a review has to clear before a score can appear.
Reaching the newsroom
Corrections, complaints, permission requests and questions about how something here was sourced all go to the editorial address, which reaches the people responsible for the site. The contact page lists every route, including the separate address used for data-protection questions.
General information only
The newsroom publishes market news, research standards and education. It is not licensed to advise anyone on their own money, it knows nothing about your circumstances, and nothing it publishes is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
