A terms page usually exists to limit what a reader can later claim. This one is also trying to do something plainer: tell you exactly what kind of site you have landed on, so that you weigh what you read here correctly.
By continuing to use traderpublic you are accepting the clauses below. If any of them does not suit you, the appropriate response is to close the tab — there is nothing to cancel and no account to delete.
01 What traderpublic is
traderpublic is a trading-education and market-commentary site. Its purpose is to teach a reader how to interrogate a market claim — a spread table, a licence, a price forecast — rather than to hand over conclusions to be acted on.
It is not a broker, a dealer, an introducing broker, an exchange, an investment adviser or a fund manager. It is not licensed by any financial regulator, and it does not need to be, because it performs none of the activities that require a licence.
02 Nothing here is advice
No page on this site is a personal recommendation, and no page has been written with your circumstances in mind — because we do not know them.
Commentary, forecasts, scores, comparisons and educational material are general information. They take no account of your income, your obligations, your tax position, your experience or your tolerance for loss. Whether any instrument or firm mentioned here is appropriate for you is a question this site is structurally incapable of answering.
If you want advice about your own money, the person to ask is one who is licensed to give it where you live and who is accountable to a regulator for what they tell you.
03 The parts of this site that are invented
traderpublic began as an interface study, and some of that material is still on the site. You should treat all of the following as written for demonstration:
- every broker profile, including company names, scores, trading conditions, licence numbers and the supervising authorities they claim
- the trader comments underneath those profiles, and the people they are attributed to
- the price predictions, market counters and research titles on the home page
- the masthead of editors and analysts, whose names also sign demonstration articles
Where invented material appears it carries a notice on the same screen. No ranking or recommendation is published from it, and those pages ask search engines not to index them. Even so, you should not use anything in that category to choose a firm, price a trade or judge a licence.
04 Accuracy and the passage of time
Market pages age badly. Figures, quotes, licence standings and regulatory details are recorded at a moment and can be wrong an hour later, whether or not this site has noticed. We correct errors when they are pointed out, but nothing here is warranted to be current, complete or fit for any purpose.
Where a claim about a firm's licence appears, the regulator's own register is linked beside it. That register is authoritative. This site is not.
05 What you may do with the content
The text, layout, code and graphics on this site belong to traderpublic. You are welcome to read them, print a page for yourself, and quote a short passage elsewhere as long as you credit it and link back.
Republishing whole pages, scraping the site to train or populate another product, or presenting this material as somebody else's work are not permitted. Names and marks belonging to third parties appear only to identify them and imply no association.
06 Sites we link to
Outbound links, including links to regulators, exist so that you can verify something without taking our word for it. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they publish, what they collect or what they do next.
07 Availability
The site is offered as it is and as it happens to be available. It may be offline, incomplete or mid-rewrite at any moment, with no notice and no promise of a fix within any period.
08 Limits of responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, traderpublic is not liable for any loss — trading losses first among them — arising from your use of this site or your reliance on anything published here. You are responsible for the decisions you make with your own capital, including decisions you make after reading this site.
Nothing in these terms tries to exclude a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
09 Changes to these terms
These terms can change. The version that applies to you is the one published when you use the site, and the date at the top tells you which that is. Continuing to read after a change is how you accept it.
