Sending a correction
Corrections are the messages we most want to receive, and a well-formed one is acted on far faster. Say which page, quote the sentence, and give us the source that contradicts it wherever you can.
A factual error is fixed on the page and carries a dated note saying what it previously said. If we cannot verify a challenge from a primary source, we will tell you that instead of quietly leaving the page as it was.
- The full URL of the page, including the language prefix if you were reading in Thai.
- The exact sentence or figure you are challenging.
- The source that contradicts it — a regulator's register entry or the firm's own document is ideal.
- Whether you are happy to be told what we decided; we answer correction reports.
Press, permissions and reuse
Requests to quote, translate or republish material go to the editorial address. Short quotations with a link back are welcome without asking; wholesale reproduction is not.
We do not accept guest articles, sponsored posts, link insertions or paid mentions, and messages offering them are not answered. The reasons are on the editorial policy and trust and disclosure pages, which are worth reading before writing to us about a commercial arrangement.
What we cannot help with
We cannot tell you which broker to use, whether an instrument suits you, how to size a position, or what a market will do next. traderpublic is not licensed to advise anyone on their own money and does not know your circumstances.
We cannot recover funds from a firm, intervene in a dispute with a brokerage, or confirm that a company is safe. If you have a complaint about a regulated firm, the regulator that licensed it is the body with the power to act — its public register is the place to start, and it is also where you should verify any licence claim you have read anywhere, including here.
What happens after you write
Messages are read by the people who run the site. Corrections are prioritised over everything else, and a page is changed as soon as the challenge stands up to a primary source rather than at the end of a review cycle.
Please do not send trading account credentials, identity documents or payment details. There is no situation in which this site needs them, and any message containing them is deleted rather than filed.
Before you write about a broker
Trading leveraged products carries a high risk of loss, and no message to this address can change the arithmetic of a position that has already been opened. Verify a firm's legal entity and licence in the regulator's own register, and take advice from someone licensed where you live before funding an account.
