Concert Details and Lineup

The Europa Open Air concert will be held on 20 August 2026 at Weseler Werft in Frankfurt. Gates will open at 16:00, and admission is free. The event is jointly organized by the European Central Bank (ECB) and Hessischer Rundfunk (hr).

Free Europa Open Air Concert Set for Frankfurt

The lineup includes the Frankfurt Radio Big Band, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, Kurt Elling and Richard Galliano. Kurt Elling is a Grammy Award-winning jazz singer, while Richard Galliano is an accordion virtuoso.

Euro Banknote Design Preview

Alongside the concert, the ECB will operate an information stand focused on the design of future euro banknotes. Visitors will be able to explore the ten shortlisted design proposals currently under consideration and take part in the ECB’s public survey.

The shortlisted proposals are built around the themes of European culture, rivers and birds.
