Michelin’s 2026 guide puts India at 47 key hotels, South Africa at 32, Morocco at 31, the UAE at 25, Saudi Arabia at 17, Egypt at 13 and Qatar at 11.

Three-key hotels named in the guide

The guide places Kasbah Tamadot and La Mamounia in Morocco, Taj Lake Palace and Taj Falaknuma Palace in India, Londolozi Game Reserve, Royal Malewane and Delaire Graff Estate in South Africa, and Atlantis The Royal in Dubai at the three-key level.

Desert Rock Resort in Saudi Arabia also receives the three-key level and the guide’s architecture and design award.

Londolozi Game Reserve in South Africa also receives Michelin’s local culture award.
