SEC Announces New Committee Members
Five appointments to the Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee were confirmed by the Commission. The announcement was made in a press release dated Washington D.C., June 4, 2026, and identified as release number 2026-52.

Rules, regulations and policy touching small businesses -- smaller public companies among them -- are what the panel exists to advise the Commission on. Its roster stands at fifteen Commission-appointed seats alongside three that carry no vote. Beyond those, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority names an observer who sits with the panel.
