Broker Fund Safety — What We Verified

Two terms decide what happens to your money when something goes wrong: whether client funds are held separately from the firm's own, and whether a negative balance can be claimed back from you. Our desk records both per broker.

This page also carries the licence evidence in full, because a licence is the one claim here we verified ourselves — each number was read from the regulator's own public register on the date shown.

Trading CFDs carries a high risk of losing money. Nothing on this page is advice to open an account with any firm.

Broker records we publish

Ordered by the traderpublic desk score on each record. Records our desk has not scored are not ranked here.

This order is our published desk score, which covers the broker overall. It is NOT a safety ranking: a compensation scheme and its ceiling are what would make one, and neither is published on our records.

What decides fund safety — and what we have not published

Segregation, negative balance protection and the licence trail are published facts. What a compensation scheme would actually pay out is not, and that is the figure that matters if a firm fails.

Frequently asked questions

Does a licence mean my money is protected?

It means a regulator authorised the entity and can be asked about it. Whether a compensation scheme covers you, and up to what amount, is a separate question our records do not answer yet.

What does segregated actually mean here?

That the broker states client money is held in accounts separate from its own working capital. We record the claim and the page we read it from; we do not audit the accounts.
